2018 Geology Field Studies Reunion Tour

June 3 - June 10, 2018

old field studies photo

Led by Dr. Bob Nusbaum, this 7-day trip brought alumni together to revisit some of their favorite Field Studies stops including Zion, Bryce Canyon, Yankee Meadows, and Cathedral Gorge. Alumni experienced hiking, camping, and geological challenges along the way while reliving the sights, sounds, and smells (vans?) of southern Utah.

The cost of the trip (including park entrance and camping fees, van rentals, and meals) was $799 to encourage participants to donate to the Geology Alumni Endowed Fund, which supports current students to attend Field Studies and conduct research with faculty.

We are in the early stages of planning our next alumni field studies reunion trip! Check back soon for more information.
