Mission Statement
The purpose of the Geological Society of the College of Charleston is to provide an informal forum for undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty who are interested in geology, to promote their interaction, and to expand their opportunities for extracurricular learning and experiences.

Members of the Geology Club and the CofC VA teamed up for another successful downtown trash sweep. Look at all the trash!

January 31, 2012
Successful event with over 100 students and community members coming out to hear Charlie Sneed speak and meet representatives from environmental groups in our community.

October 1, 2011
Giving back to the community, the Geology Club helped clean up the Peninsula today by picking up trash in the vicinity of Montague and Cannon streets downtown. They ran into our local city councilman, Mike Seekings, who was quite proud of our students--Great Job!
