Drs. Vulava and Callahan lead students from the Gangotri glacier in the Himalayas to the Sunderbans mangrove forest near the Bay of Bengal on a trip through the Indian subcontinent. During the trip, students have the opportunity to learn what role the government and the Indian culture plays on how water is used in this part of the world. Students also have the chance to examine water quality issues in the developing world, measure water quality, map watersheds, and even pick up a little Hindi.
